Open House

Open House Has been directed by Elena Araoz, sound by Nathan Leigh and developed with the help of Go-Solo Workshop (Go-Solo.org)

Synopsis: It’s a story about a Puerto Rican mom who becomes the realtor of her own home and in the process has to downsize both her home and her emotions, when her Americanized daughters dare to grow up, her Czech husband who stutters finds his voice and her always reliable, always there handyman suddenly disappears.

Readings: Open House has had two readings, a workshop/presentation for an invited audience at Open Jar in NYC and participated in The Sol Project Theatre Festival in 2025. It has been very well received.
